Spring Buzz Lunch-N-Learn

Spring is coming! Learn what the Spring Buzz is about at the Beede Wildlife Habitat area!

The Beede Site Group invites you to our next lunch and learn at noon on Thursday, March 25, 2021. The team will discuss our spring readiness site work, from cleaning out bird and duck boxes to installing additional pollinator houses. A Woodard & Curran scientist who specializes in pollinator habitats will also join us to share how you can create a welcoming yard for native pollinators.

The Jack V. Dwyer Habitat Area is home to many native pollinators who return in the warmer months. To foster this habitat, the Beede Site Group has restored the meadow, adding native plants, such as milkweed, and installing pollinator houses.
